Lord Bendtner Eyeing return to UK Shores

Everyone was excited during the summer when they discovered that the one and only Zlatan Ibrahimovic would be finally gracing the Premier League with his presence. Today’s news however blows Ibrahimovic’s transfer to Manchester United out of the water as it has been reported that Lord Bendtner could be eyeing an English football return with QPR, Zlatan who, I hear you say!

That’s right, the man who turned down the Ballon d’Or because he thought Messi needed cheering up, the man who helped the FBI track down Osama Bin Laden and the striker who chose to leave Arsenal after the league’s goalkeepers signed a petition saying it wasn’t fair that they had to face him. Reports have just started emerging that QPR are interested in signing Bendtner, who is currently a free agent.

Since his release from Wolfsburg, Bendtner has spent his summer at Real Madrid after Zidane’s request to give Ronaldo and Bale a hand with their shooting and the Dane seems to be up for a return to English football after growing frustrated with the ability of the Real Madrid frontmen.

The 28 year old Lord is likely to arrive at Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink’s QPR team with some lofty wage demands, and who can blame hime! QPR in the past have created huge problems for themselves with the amount of wages that they have been paying their players. After spending a lot of time and effort clearing the high wage earners out, the question remains as to whether QPR will be happy to stump up the cash for ‘Our Lord Bendtner,’ we for one certainly hope so.

In anticipation, here are some of the Lord’s finest quotes.
