Hull Brutally Trolled by West Ham Sponsors on Twitter
Hull City’s difficulties around their squad size ( Just 13 senior players,) their lack of management and their seemingly unaware owners have become well known to all across the summer. Hull have been inactive in the transfer window and have put angry, my-poo-smells-worse-than-yours, ex-Fergie whipping boy Mike Phelan in charge. In spite of the Tiger’s clear problems and a widespread belief that they won’t stay up this season they pulled off quite the result on Saturday with a 2-1 against champions Leicester thanks to a winning goal from Robert Snodgrass to get their season off to a flier.
In an interesting turn of events, West Ham sponsors Betway have decided to fire some shots off at Hull City on Twitter in what is a seemingly unprovoked attack, the two don’t even play each other until December 17th!
Her’s how the spat started.
Time is running out for #HCAFC to strengthen their skeleton squad. Luckily the search isn’t complicated… #PL pic.twitter.com/UPY19QKsvl

Then Hull fired back, tiger style.
| Today’s @betway to do list…
✅ Remember not to criticise players of the club which they sponsor #PLhttps://t.co/SVkapjyPIF

They were of course referencing the gambling company’s interest attack on Michael Antonio on Monday.
Antonio has been an accident waiting to happen in defence, #WHUFC fans will hope that’s the end of the experiment. pic.twitter.com/IeGp4zz1qM

Not ones to back down, Betway come back
.@HullCity we’ve got a social media exec who can play centre back going on a free. Should we tell him to bring his boots on Saturday?
— betway (@betway) August 17, 2016
Twitter user @CharlieWHUFC then got involved and called out Tesco Mobile who thought nothing about getting involved, Bantz!
@charlierwhufc @hullcity Shame we’re not free on Saturday, looks like @betway could use all the help they can get

Following Betway’s response, Tesco channel their inner Zlatan and destroy Twitter!
@betway @charlierwhufc Tesco Mobile doesn’t do trials #DareToTesco
